TDK selected for “DX Stocks 2026” for the first time by METI

This prestigious program, jointly administered by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE), and the Information-technology Promotion Agency (IPA), recognizes companies that leverage digital technology to fundamentally transform their business models and enhance global competitiveness. TDK was selected from 3,800 companies listed on TSE, and became one of the first electronic component suppliers to be designated as DX Stocks.

Organizational Structure for DX Realization
  • TDK established the Digital Solutions HQ directly under top management, led by Chief Digital Transformation Officer (CDXO). This structure ensures a robust, group-wide DX promotion and the integrated promotion of management and DX strategies centered on the Long-term Vision “TDK Transformation”.
  • AI Utilization
  • TDK developed "TDK GenAI," an enterprise-grade generative AI platform built in-house to drive operational efficiency and create new value globally through pioneering Agentic AI capabilities. The evaluation further recognized TDK's proprietary infrastructure, which includes data virtualization, secure API gateways, advanced cybersecurity measures like Zero Trust architecture, and strict AI governance policies enforced through comprehensive global AI literacy training.
  • Information Disclosure
  • The President and CEO has clearly articulated the importance of Green Transformation (GX)/DX through the Long-term Vision “TDK Transformation.” The company demonstrates a progressive stance on disclosure, enhancing global transparency and trust through activities such as academic keynotes, business forums, and interactions with global research institutions.
