Stakeholder Dialogue
Holding of an internal study session on how best to implement the disclosure of information
We recently held an internal study session to strengthen understanding of what information TDK needs to disclose, and why. A total of 84 team members (employees) from the departments responsible for compiling and publishing the company’s Integrated Report, financial statements, and Sustainability Website content took part in the activity.
The study session began with an opening address by the chair of the Disclosure Committee, followed by a lecture by an external expert, Mr. Minoru Matsubara, Managing Executive Officer and head of the Responsible Investment Division at Resona Asset Management Co., Ltd. Comments from participants included “It clarified the issue of who information should be disclosed to, and I was able to get a better understanding of what is required when implementing disclosure, which was great,” and “I hope that the company continues to hold this kind of study session in the future.”
Past Stakeholder Dialogue
TDK actively creates opportunities for dialogue with our stakeholders.
In particular, we hold stakeholder dialogues for topics that have a large impact on business activities. We also hold direct dialogues with outside experts and utilize the results in business activities enabling us to contribute to the sustainability of both society and the company.
