Seven Seas
The “Seven Seas” are the seven fields that TDK will tackle over the medium to long term. They are Beyond 5G, IoT, Robotics, AR/VR, Medical/Health Care, Mobility ADAS/EV, and Renewable Energy. In each of these seven fields, TDK will contribute to achieve a sustainable future through providing innovative products.

McLaren Racing and TDK
TDK are a technology partner of McLaren Racing.
We combine our technological expertise and aim to build a better future through the cutting-edge electric vehicle (EV) motorsport platform of Formula E, and ever-growing esports field.
World Athletics Championships
TDK has been sponsoring the World Athletics Championships since the inaugural event in Helsinki in 1983. The sponsorship reflects TDK’s eagerness to support athletes who are seeking to overcome difficulties and challenging situations towards their goals. This is in line with our corporate stance to take on challenges to realize a better future through our technology. TDK will continue to promote official partner activities for the World Athletics Championships until 2029.

TDK Museum
The museum is located in Nikaho City, Akita Prefecture, a region with which TDK has deep ties. The museum introduces the history and technological changes from TDK’s creation to the present. Admission is free, so please feel free to visit.

Rising Stars Clinic
The Rising Stars Clinic is an original social contribution activity of TDK that provides young people eager to open up a new future with the opportunity to meet top athletes and to experience the world’s foremost places of challenge at firsthand. TDK holds the clinics regularly in conjunction with World Athletics, which TDK sponsors as an official partner, targeting students interested in track and field athletics.
