TDK Corporation today announced the launch of The Ultimate TDK Tech Experience - an exclusive technology immersion program take place in Japan and UK, for Japan’s future engineers, university students.
As a technology company, TDK are excited to welcome the next generation of engineering talents to a special Tech Experience taking place in Japan and UK, with support from the NEOM McLaren Formula E Team
In Japan, Technology experiences at TDK Technical Center,
The experience starts with a high-impact Hackathon hosted at the TDK Technical Center, biggest R&D centre of TDK. The program brings together 30 of university students, selected through a nationwide application process, to compete in multidisciplinary teams and solve real-world innovation challenges inspired by TDK’s core technologies and commitment to sustainability.
The top-performing student group will have an opportunity an incredible experience to the United Kingdom for an immersive behind-the-scenes experience with the NEOM McLaren Formula E Team.

Private tour of McLaren’s state-of-the-art Technology facility and meetings with the NEOM McLaren Formula E engineering team. Through the conversation, they will learn what kind of mindset and viewpoints are necessary to become top-tier engineers who are working in real racing competitions. - London E-Prix Trackside Access
Exclusive insights into race preparation, garage operations, and a Q&A discussion session with senior engineering members or NMFE drivers, where they can realize how technologies are used in real racing scenes practically.
Bringing Formula E to Tokyo: Car Exhibit at Shibuya.
In the lead-up to the Tokyo E-Prix, to showcase technology partnership, a NEOM McLaren Formula E show car will be displayed at Shibuya Parco from Monday, May 12 to Sunday, May 18. The display offers a rare opportunity for fans, students, and the general public to get up close to cutting-edge all-electric racing technology.
