Update on TDK’s partnership with
the NEOM McLaren Formula E Team
April 25, 2025
TDK Corporation (TSE:6762) is saddened by the decision of McLaren Racing to withdraw from Formula E at the end of the 2024/25 season. We have fostered remarkable momentum with the NEOM McLaren Formula E Team, its enthusiastic people and the world of Formula E in recent months. We will maintain our partnership with the team throughout the current season and proceed with our scheduled activities as planned.
Nonetheless, we regard this is a new opportunity to explore potentially broader and more impactful collaboration for TDK. We are actively involved in extensive discussions, including with McLaren Racing, to strategically shape our future initiatives.
We are determined to demonstrate TDK’s potential to the world as one of the most exciting technology firms that transforms the society with products that touch nearly every aspect of daily life, creating strong impact from within.
Further details will be announced once our plans have been finalized.
