The film tells the story of two people brought together by their shared passion for drawing manga
and the sincere emotions that connect them.
The shooting took place in Nikaho City, Akita Prefecture.
TDK’s founder, Kenzo Saito, was also from Nikaho City.
Today, Nikaho City and neighboring Yurihonjo City are home to TDK’s largest production bases in Japan.

Special Exhibition at TDK Museum
From August 18 to December 31, 2026, a special exhibition of 'Look Back' is being held at the TDK Museum in Nikaho City, with the cooperation of the film production company K2 Pictures.
