TDK will operate a booth at CEATEC JAPAN 2009, a trade show that will be held at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture from October 6 to 10.
The theme of this year's booth is "Contributing to the environment and safety with advanced core technologies." TDK will display high-efficient and high-reliable products that can make significant contributions to the environment through the use of its materials and process technologies as well as TDK's initiatives for continuous technological innovation to support comfortable and secure lifestyles.
TDK will also exhibit the extensive lineup of TDK Group products that can accelerate the reinforcement of business structures with the aim of becoming a global leading company in the electronics component industry.
Main Products and Technologies Exhibited in Each Zone at the TDK Booth
The booth is divided into the following two zones.
- Product Display Zone
On display in this zone are primarily new products that contribute to reliability and environmental preservation including high recording density hard disk drive magnetic heads, thin wireless modules, ultra-low profile thin-film high-frequency components (couplers and baluns), industry-leading GMR angle sensors, magnetic products such as multilayer chip inductors for power supplies and transformers as well as representative samples from new product lineups such as SAW filters, aluminum electrolytic capacitors, and film capacitors. - Special Direct Current Electrification Zone
A demonstration that clearly explains direct current power feeding modeled on household electric supply is presented. Energy-related products and technologies such as solar cells, power modules, control units, and secondary batteries are also displayed and ways that they can contribute to saving energy are shown.
