TDK and NIPPON CHEMICAL INDUSTRIAL establish joint venture to develop electronic component materials and manufacturing processes
- The two companies to combine technological capabilities and know-how in development and evaluation to accelerate R&D

TDK Corporation (TSE:6762, hereinafter "TDK") and NIPPON CHEMICAL INDUSTRIAL CO.,LTD. (President: Hirota Tanahashi, hereinafter "NIPPON CHEMICAL INDUSTRIAL") announced that, on November 27, 2025, the two companies signed a basic agreement to begin considering the establishment of joint venture related to the development of electronic component materials and manufacturing processes including ceramic materials for multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) and manufacturing processes. Following further deliberation, the two companies have established a joint venture focused on material development and hereby announce the matter as follows.
