Information on the TDK Booth at CEATEC JAPAN 2006

TDK Corporation will be operating a booth at CEATEC JAPAN 2006, a state-of-the-art information technology and electronics fair that will be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, for five days from October 3 to 7, 2006.
Under the overall theme of "Solutions for Tomorrow," the TDK booth will introduce TDK's solutions in cutting-edge sets and applications.
On the main stage at the front of the booth there will be powerful live presentations using two large 151-inch displays. The booth as a whole will consist of three zones on the subthemes of energy, hi-definition, and communication. In each zone the high level and state-of-the-art character of TDK's technological strength centering on materials technology, process technology, and evaluation and simulation technology will be introduced through the demonstration and showcasing of TDK's new products and new technologies in response to cutting-edge set trends.
Main Products and Technologies to Be Exhibited in Each TDK Booth Zone
- Energy Zone :
Electric double-layer capacitors; magnetically shielded transformer for LCD TVs backlight inverters; power line coil components for mobile equipment; ferrite cores, transformers, and other magnet products using new materials; power-supply products, such as DC to DC converters, for industrial equipment; flip-chip bonder; etc.
- Hi-Definition Zone :
HDD heads, blu-ray discs and blue-laser optical discs, HDMI-compatible products, organic EL displays, new-format flat-panel speakers, etc.
- Communication Zone :
Ultra wideband (UWB) test system and related products, passive components for mobile equipment, common mode filters for automobile networks, wireless sensors, etc.
