SustainabilityAbout the "Sustainability" Website
Our Approach
Two aspirations are contained in our Long-term Vision, “TDK Transformation—Accelerating transformation for a sustainable future.” Firstly, TDK aims to accelerate the evolution of technology and the transformation of society through electronic devices combining its unique materials, processes, and software, thereby contributing to the realization of a sustainable future. Further, by continuing to transform itself, TDK aims to grow alongside its global customers as their No. 1 partner.
This sustainability website (Sustainability Report) presents the progress made on the key issues (materiality) that the TDK Group must address, based on our Long-term Vision, TDK Transformation. It also organizes and presents TDK's various initiatives aimed at realizing a sustainable society within an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) framework.
This report was prepared with reference to the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) Standards, the SASB Standards and other frameworks and guidance.
We also report, in a way that makes clear how much progress is being made, information relating to our materiality, focusing on the efforts made by the diverse team members of TDK United to accelerate the transformation of TDK itself, and to enhance corporate value, so that TDK can continue contributing toward the transformation of society through its businesses.
As part of the shareholder and investor information on the TDK website, our integrated report includes accounts which illustrate how the TDK Group contributes to the transformation of society and, as a result, grows its business, while also creating values. We also communicate our policies and strategies relating to the enhancement of corporate value through IR news, the IR calendar, and other up-to-the-minute materials.
We hope that you will find this content useful.
