TDK technology conveys the feel of flying

TDK’s high-sensitivity six-axis sensor, connected to the top of the hang glider’s control bar, precisely measures the bar’s changing rotation angle and movement speed as the rider’s weight shifts. Those measurements are input into a computer and reflected in the movement of the 3DCG-based virtual hang glider, making it seem as if you are piloting the glider.
You control how you fly through the air!
For this “ride,” a person is strapped into a harness that is actually used in hang gliding. You grab the control bar and shift your body weight forward and back, left and right to “steer” the glider, all made possible by the TDK sensor technology.

We’ll guide you on your flight!
Reki-chan and Mira-kun, the TDK Museum mascots,
will serve as your tour guides. Their commentary will make the flight fun and enjoyable.
