Technology for the well-being of all people
Lucy is a girl who spends all her time indoors, playing games and tinkering with machines.
One day, drawn to an old map she happened to find, she sets out on a treasure-hunting journey with her robot buddy Ribbit.
As she ventures into the outside world, Lucy experiences a series of events, which she overcomes with the help of the latest technology. This is the story of a young girl’s adventure as seen through the eyes of TDK, which hopes to offer “Technology for the well-being of all people.”
The “Seven Seas” are the seven fields that TDK will tackle over the medium to long term. They are Beyond 5G, IoT, Robotics, AR/VR, Medical/Health Care, Mobility ADAS/EV, and Renewable Energy. In each of these seven fields, TDK will supply value to society through new user experiences.
The TDK Group views social issues from a long-term perspective and advocates a Sustainability Vision of “Technology for the well-being of all people.” Through our efforts to revitalize and protect the global environment, our respect for human rights, and our proprietary core technologies and solutions, we aim to realize a sustainable and happy society for all people.
The “Seven Seas” that TDK will tackle over the medium to long term embody this Sustainability Vision.
In these “Seven Seas,” TDK stipulates Beyond 5G, IoT, Robotics, AR/VR, Medical/Health Care, Mobility ADAS/EV, and Renewable Energy as the seven fields that we will prioritize in tackling with the long-term strategy of supplying added value to society through new user experiences.
TDK’s communication message of “Attracting Tomorrow” implies a corporate stance of making our own deliberate efforts to attract the future rather than just waiting for the future to arrive.
TDK will continue our activities to attract the happy future depicted in the “Seven Seas.”
Come explore these seven futures.
Various issues exist in the society surrounding the TDK Group, including environmental problems, such as climate change, energy, and the exhaustion of resources, and social problems, such as aging and the digital divide.
