Dec. 19, 2014
TDK Corporation, in collaboration with Toshiba Corporation and Dunkin’ Brands Group Inc., which operates Dunkin Donuts, will light up a digital animation Christmas tree on the uppermost screens of One Times Square Building in Times Square, New York, from December 18 (local time).
As a result of the Dunkin’ Brands Group coming on board, this year the digital tree covers four screens rising about 120 meters above ground level, and the tree itself measures about 60 meters, making it the tallest digital tree in the world. The tree will appear on the screens every five minutes until January 13, 2015, shining down from the winter sky to brighten the holiday mood.
In cooperation with Toshiba and the Dunkin’ Brands Group, TDK intends to continue using this opportunity to further enhance its corporate image as a global enterprise.
